St. Bernard's 51, ACGC 38

(At St. Paul) -- Hindered by five turnovers, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City couldn't pull off another upset.

Mitch Tauer scored on three short runs and the fourth-seeded Falcons (6-5) accumulated 334 rushing yards, but No. 1 St. Bernard's (7-3) scored twice in the final seven minutes of the game to break a 38-38 tie.

Trevor Heining added two TD runs for ACGC, which converted the two-point conversion on four of its five scores. Eric Whitcomb led the Falcons with 129 rushing yards and Kurt Litzau followed with 99.

(At Morris) -- Ryan Tri ran for two touchdowns and Tyler Geislinger passed for two more as Eden Valley-Watkins ousted Yellow Medicine East.

Tri scored on runs of 15 yards in the second quarter and 14 in the fourth quartrer. Geislinger combined with Eric Kummet on an 11-yard scoring play in the second quarter and then teamed up with Kevin Kramer for a 12-yard touchdowns in the second quarter.

YME's lone score came in the second quarter when Nic Lecy caught a 69-yard touchdown pass from Bobby Lecy.

YME (7-4) was limited to 127 yards of total offense.
