At least 7 killed in Owatonna plane crash


OWATONNA, Minn. (AP) - An FAA spokeswoman says at least seven people have died in a plane crash in Owatonna, Minn.

Elizabeth Isham Cory says the plane crashed near or at the city airport Thursday morning. Heavy weather was moving through Minnesota at the time.

Cory says authorities believe the plane was en route from Atlantic City, New Jersey, but cautioned that the information was preliminary. City and county authorities were not releasing information.
