Lee A. Miley Sept. 22, 1914 - Feb. 24, 2009
MELROSE -- Lee Arthur Miley, 94, of Grove City died Tuesday at Pine Haven in Melrose.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Litchfield United Methodist Church in Litchfield. A private family burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosendale.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield is handling arrangements. Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's treatment and research.
He was born Sept. 22, 1914, in Lac Qui Parle County to Jacob and Elizabeth (Ulrich) Miley. He grew up in Ortonville.
He married Gloria Eklund on Jan. 4, 1936. They farmed in the Atwater and Grove City areas.
He is survived by his five sons: David (and Karen) Miley of Edina, Rodney (and Nancy) Miley of Grey Eagle, Dean Miley of Dayton, James (and Bonnie) Miley of Apple Valley and Jerry (and Alyce) Miley of Avon; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter-in-law: Lily Miley; and seven siblings.
