Legion Baseball: 11-run sixth boosts Litchfield

LITCHFIELD -- Litchfield pounded out 15 hits in six innings to beat New London-Spicer 15-3 in a seven-inning Division I Legion baseball game Wednesday.

Litchfield exploded for 11 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Nick Buschette led the way with three hits. Shane Gutormson, Tyler Kielty, Brian Malepsy and Aaron Valiant had two hits each.

Caleb Friedrich went 3-for-4 to lead New London-Spicer.

Kielty earned the win, pitching six innings. He gave up three runs on nine hits, struck out four and walked one.
