Email

WILLMAR -- Nine innings were one too many for the Willmar Legion on Monday night on Baker Field.

Trailing the entire game, Marshall erupted for eight runs in the top of the ninth to slam Willmar 10-4 in Division I, District 7 baseball.

Willmar led 4-1 after Brady Schneck's two-out, two run double in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Marshall got one back in the eighth on a walk and two singles off starter Nathanial Swoyer.

It was a prelude of what was to come.
