Legislative auditor looks at MN workforce programs
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota's legislative auditor will report on how well the state's workforce programs are doing their work.
The state has 47 such programs to help job seekers, and in the midst of a recession they're more important than ever. The auditor's report will be delivered to a House committee today.
The audit examined job retention rates, comments from workforce program providers and survey results from job seekers and businesses.
