MAYNARD -- Leslie "Bones" Leese, 51, of Maynard, died Saturday at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Burial will be in Maynard Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota-Heart Association.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Arrangements are with Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Clara City.

He was born Sept. 12, 1957, in Benson to Jacob and Janis (Larson) Leese. He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1979.

He is survived by his mother of Maynard; siblings: Geraldine (and Denny) Jensen of Brooklyn Center; Linda (and John) Hallson of Long Lake, Darlene Leese of Brooklyn Center, Allen (and Donna) Leese of Maynard, Orlene (and Ron) Gorder of Lowry, Laura Leese (and Norm Schneider) of Maynard, Harlen (and Robyn) Leese of Maynard, Karla (and Joey) Buseman of Montevideo; Bradley (and Kim) Leese of Tuscola, Ill., Julie (and Dave) Pedersen of Brooklyn Park and Janell (and Dominick) Bush of Vadnais Heights.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1979.
