Letter: Compliments to Arizona
I'd like to give a compliment to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer for signing the law that allows state and local law enforcement to question people on their immigration status if they have reason to believe that they may be in the U.S. illegally.
It is also a state crime in Arizona to be in the United States illegally. And to all of the courageous legislators in Arizona that voted for the passage of this law that is basically reinforcing the federal law that requires all aliens to carry identification papers.
I see now where a Pinal County sheriff's deputy was shot and wounded by an alleged illegal alien drug smuggler. Pinal County is located between Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz. This is a major drug smuggling/illegal alien entry corridor.
I'm wondering how many more Americans will have to lose their lives to the illegals before our liberal administration wakes up and starts to do something in earnest about stemming the flow of illegal aliens and the drugs that they are bringing with them.
But in all reality this administration will try to make all the illegals legal. Why? Because if they are able to accomplish this, it will give them a huge bloc of votes in the upcoming elections, which they will need after jamming socialized medicine/health care down our throats.
