Letter: Congress needs compromise
I’m frustrated, frustrated with congressional gridlock.
Both parties are free to have their own agenda and ideology. I get that. That is the way it should be.
What is lacking in Congress is the true definition of politics and politicians — the art of compromise.
The Tea Party simply doesn’t understand this. They are the big bully on the playground. To them it’s our way or the highway. Even moderate Republicans are afraid of them. That style may work in grade school, but God help us if this movement continues to govern.
In order to move America to new great heights, we need less finger pointing and more hand shakes between rivals.
