Letter: Did anyone go outside except to shop over holiday weekend?
I understand 141 million Americans went shopping over the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
To throw a football with their kids.
To walk, run, ski or skate.
To knock a rooster down with your dog.
To cut and split firewood for winter.
To do that last minute yard work.
To just get outdoors with your family.
If that number is less than 20 percent, we are all on a well-waxed toboggan, on a 45-degree hill, heading downhill at a very fast pace.
