Letter: Discriminating against seniors

Is it bordering on discrimination to the senior citizens and the low salary people in the area of the West Central Tribune coverage to eliminate the services column? Many elderly subscribers aren't computer operators and have no desire to become computer-literate, or they can't afford a computer living on Social Security. This is true for the people working at low-paying jobs.

I am fortunate enough to be able to pick up this information on my computer but it is a nuisance. Many days my time is limited and I have only time to read and send my emails. Plus it is something I am not used to doing so have to leave myself a note. Some of the elderly are housebound and don't get to the coffee shop to hear of the latest deaths. My subscription runs out in November and I am debating whether or not I want to pay all that money and not receive the information that I subscribed for initially.
