Letter: Everyone's right to choose
First I heard that Sarah Palin and her husband knew that they were to become parents of a child with Down syndrome and their faith and beliefs led them to complete the pregnancy. This was their decision and I would never dispute such faith and beliefs.
Then I heard that their daughter, a high school senior, was five months pregnant and the family had supported the daughter's decision to keep the baby and to marry the father. This was their decision as a family and it is also not my business.
My question is: If the Palins are free to make these decisions for their family, should you have to consider that you might lose your right to make those same decisions because of politicians who may not share your beliefs?
