Letter: A full-time politician?
Since 1976, Collin Peterson has been a full-time politician. Recently, it seems as if he is challenging the definition of "full time."
Peterson was surprisingly absent when 39 fellow Democrats voted to stay in session to address the issue of tax cuts, among other things. Had he voted to stay in session, America could be looking forward to low taxes. Instead, because of Peterson's insistence on a personal vacation, we can look forward to a massive tax hike next year -- the largest in the history of the United States of America.
While he bills himself as a moderate Democrat, even calling himself a conservative, he completely ignores the well-being of Minnesota's 7th District. This November, let's elect someone willing to work full time for the American people.
