Timothy Huber pleads guilty to second-degree murder in 2011 shooting death of teacher

Letter: A healthy food future for all

Last Thursday’s Minnesota Food Charter event brought together community leaders from education, health care, agriculture, food banks, the Willmar Community-Owned Grocery, local and state government. The discussion was about building a healthier future here in Willmar. The results of this discussion have been sent on to the Minnesota Department of Health and will become part of the statewide plan.

The Minnesota Food Charter is about building a healthy, sustainable food future for our families, our community and our state. It is also about building a stronger community through making good food available to all.

We thank the West Central Tribune and reporter Anne Polta for excellent coverage of the event.
