Do the contractors that do highway construction get more money for a job if they can drag it out over a period of time? Perhaps the contractor gets some special rental deal on the orange barrels.
The project in mind is the Highway 71/23 north of Willmar. It has been under construction for over a month with many days of no work done at all.
With the limited time the contractor was on the job, the whole project should have been done in about five days. Why don’t they finish one project before starting another?
