Letter: Looking forward to Holidaze
Last year on the streets of downtown Willmar we enjoyed the Holidaze parade. Lots of holiday floats all decked out with colored lights. Hot dogs roasting on open fires. Best of all, seeing people of all ages enjoying the sights and sounds of the music. What a great time on a cool November evening.
For me this celebration was rudely interrupted by two young men that seemed to think I needed indoctrination in Mormonism.
After listening to their pitch, I told them my future was guaranteed 2,000 years ago on the cross.
Wow! Did I hit a nerve? They took off posthaste.
There will be another Holidaze celebration on Saturday. So please, don't bug me about your Mormonism again this year.
