Did I correctly read in the Nov. 2 Tribune that the state has chronically underfunded our schools?
At the same time our state is attempting to finance a new stadium for the Vikings. What a great message this sends our young people: Cheer up, if your teachers or classes which you need for your career path are gone because of budget cuts, you can always sell cold beer and peanuts at the new Vikings stadium. Now that is a career that will make your parents proud.
The proponents of the new stadium are correct, it will definitely have an impact on the future economy of Minnesota.
