Letter: Program is seeing clients
The Willmar Community Transitional Services, formerly known as the Willmar Community Behavioral Health Hospital, was licensed on March 14 and began accepting admissions for a service that will be billed, at a lower cost, to Medicaid or private insurance.
To take a phrase from Mark Twain, "Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated," to clarify that the Willmar program is not planning to close.
The benefits of our program include serving clients with complex mental health problems. This will assist them in developing skills so they can live successfully out in the community.
