It amazes me every Saturday when the paper comes with a dozen fliers printed on glossy paper. We are supposed to be recycling. Why don't retailers print their ads on recyclable paper?
This weekend I spotted ads selling fabric shopping bags so we don't have to use plastic. It doesn't solve the whole problem if we can't recycle their ads.
Hats off to those who do use recyclable paper for their ads!
Editor's note: Check with your local recycling center. Most do accept ads that were in the newspaper.
