Letter: Say prayers for our soldiers

Most people are united in a show of support for our troops.

We see yellow ribbons on trees and on light posts. School children help pack boxes for our troops. May I suggest another means of showing support? Many of you are already doing this -- pray for our troops. Then pray, by name. For each serviceman or servicewoman you know. Pray that God would keep them safe in body, soul, and mind and that he would bring them safely home.

Now, pray for safe, successful release or rescue of Private First Class Bowe Bergdahl, who has been captured by the Taliban. Pray as if he were your son, or brother, or neighbor, or classmate, or as if you were Bergdahl himself.
