On Friday morning my first-grader was loaded down with things to carry into school so I helped her out and walked in with her.
I was so moved to hear and see what was in store for the early arrivers to school. I felt so very blessed to see the festive Christmas hats and sweaters and hear the beautiful voices.
What a privilege to have my kids be taught and cared for under these loving people.
I know it has been an incredibly difficult week for the staff of schools but thank you for making it such a special and safe place for my kids.
I know all of the staff is very busy and some might not think they have singing voices, but please let them know how heart-warming it was for a mom of two Kennedy students to hear and see them out there.
You have all blessed my holiday season.
