Letter: Sonshiners were well-behaved
Nancy Chaplinski's letter, published on July 22, implies that the Sonshine Festival sells alcohol, marijuana, and tattoos. I would like to know where she saw these items for sale, since no people who actually attended seem to have seen what she saw.
One would have to be totally naïve to be surprised that a few of the teenagers would drink some alcohol or smoke some pot. A festival official told me that there were only about a handful of the kids -- out of 20,000 -- that were caught using these drugs. I was blessed to hear that over 19,990 attendees were so faithful to the law and to Christian principles.
