Gov. Pawlenty objects to the $4 billion in stimulus money entitled to Minnesota. The good news on KCCO was the Democrats in the Legislature can override Pawlenty if he says no to the money.
Pawlenty does not object to the idea of cutting up to 84,000 needy Minnesotans off of state health care. Possibly taxing soda pop? A new $1 a pack tax on cigarettes?
If it's a strain on the poor even though he said no new taxes, it's OK if it can provide for a way to a corporate tax break and to favor his rich friends.
Thanks be to God the Democrats are there to force the stimulus money through that will created 66,000 new jobs in Minnesota and the holy right-wing way will not prevail. That would, as usual, not be good for people.
