Andrew Falk's absence at the Minnesota Transportation Alliance's Regional Meeting and Candidate Forum held Monday in Marshall is yet another sign he fails to look out for the best interest of his district. State Senator Gary Kubly and other area legislators and candidates were there, why not Falk?
In contrast, Falk's opponent, Jay Backer attended the event and participated in a productive discussion about transportation needs in rural Minnesota. Jay has been extremely active in his campaign through his attendance at public meetings, candidate forums, going door-to-door and visiting main street small business owners. We need strong voices ready to stand up for rural Minnesota. Andrew Falk has proven he's not up for the job. It's time for a new voice. Jay Backer is that voice.
