Letter: What Sonshine is really about

I would like to respond to the July 22 letter about the Sonshine Festival.

My daughter and I attended Sonshine for the first time this year. The crowd was large but people were friendly and polite. At no time did I see anyone drinking alcohol or using drugs, and certainly not selling it!

Sure, some of the music maybe wasn't my style but the Christian message was there. I saw an enthusiasm for worshipping Jesus in song and praise. That was what Sonshine was really all about.
