Lindsay Lohan's father arrested again in Tampa
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The estranged father of actress Lindsay Lohan was back in police custody today, hours after being released from a Tampa jail on domestic violence charges.
But Tampa police say Michael Lohan will spend tonight under observation at a hospital before being booked into jail again.
Police answered a 911 call early today from Lohan's on-and-off girlfriend. Kate Major told police Lohan made a harassing phone call to her Wednesday.
Lohan called again while police were at Major's condo. Major put the call on speaker so police could listen.
Officers went to a hotel where Lohan was staying and say he jumped from a third-floor balcony in an attempt to escape.
Lohan was arrested Tuesday on domestic violence charges involving Major, a former reporter for the Star tabloid.
