Litchfield Casey's robbed, police investigating

LITCHFIELD -- Litchfield Police are investigating the Sunday evening armed robbery of the Casey's General Store along North Sibley Avenue.

According to a news release, two individuals came into the store around 10 p.m. wearing masks and with their hoods pulled up. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and fired a shot in the direction of one of the employees and demanded money.

The suspects then took the cash out of the register and fled the store.
