Litchfield man arrested in alleged St. Cloud burglary
ST. CLOUD -- A Litchfield man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault early Wednesday morning in St. Cloud.
Residents of a house in the 700 block of 32nd Avenue North were awakened when their front door was broken down shortly after 3 a.m.
Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress to find the occupants of the home detaining a suspect inside the home.
Chase Alan Thompson, 21, of Litchfield was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail where he is being held on charges of first-degree burglary, fifth-degree assault and criminal damage to property.
