Litchfield men arrested on drug charges, more arrests expected

LITCHFIELD -- Two Litchfield men, ages 44 and 41, were arrested when law enforcement officers executed a search warrant Friday afternoon on a home along the 300 block of South Armstrong Avenue in Litchfield.

According to the Litchfield Police, the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation for the trafficking of illegal drugs. An undetermined amount of methamphetamine and marijuana, plus drug paraphernalia and packaging supplies, were seized. The police department, along with the CEE-VI Drug Task Force and the State Patrol executed the warrant.

The investigation continues and more arrests are expected. The men are being held in the Meeker County Jail pending formal charges.
