Lloyd Hagen July 23, 1920 - Dec. 16, 2008

MORRIS -- Lloyd Raymond Hagen, 88, of Morris died Tuesday at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alberta. Burial will be in Frog Lake Cemetery, rural Alberta.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to service at the church.

He was born July 23, 1920, in Artichoke Township, Big Stone County, to Severt and Lydia (Tobeck) Hagen. He grew up in Stevens Township near Chokio and attended School District 48. He worked as a hired man for three years and, in 1943, he began farming with his brother in Moonshine Township in Big Stone County. In 1959, he began farming in Baker Township with his brother-in-law until he retired in 1982 and moved to Morris.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alberta and the Eagles Club in Morris.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, including: Dennis Hagen, Daryl Hagen, Bill Hagen, Gary Jacobson, Curtis Jacobson, Ron Jacobson, Arlene Carbert, Audrey Opheim, Vicky Cereley LeAnn Schultz, Cheryl Robinson and Shelley Jacobson.

He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
