Local school districts will decide whether to close on Tuesday

ROSEVILLE — The state is leaving it up to local school leaders to decide whether to hold classes on Tuesday, when temperatures are expected to be nearly as cold as today.

Gov. Mark Dayton had ordered all schools closed today because of the below zero temperatures and even lower wind chills.

Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius sent this message to school districts today:
