GRANITE FALLS - The missing juvenile female from rural Granite Falls has been located. Lily Jean Paulson, 17, was located safe at approximately 11:00 a.m. Monday.

Paulson had been missing for approximately 16 hours.

She was transported to the Granite Falls Hospital for observation and was reunited with her family, according to the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Department.

Assisting with the search was the Clarkfield Fire Department and Ambulance Service, the Granite Falls Fire Department, Upper Sioux Community Police Department, the Granite Falls Police Department, the Canby Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol Helicopter, Minnesota DNR, and the Codington County South Dakota Search and Rescue Team.
