BENSON -- Lois Jane Madden-Reiman, 72, of Benson, died Friday at home.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Burial will be in Benson City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, with a 4:30 p.m. prayer service, and for one hour before the service Monday at the church. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson.

She was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Montevideo to Ralph Edward and Mable (Allen) Cushman. She grew up and attended grade school and high school in Montevideo. She worked at the drug store.

She married Jerry Madden on Jan. 16, 1955, in Benson. They first lived in Gilbert and moved back to a farm in rural Benson. She was a housewife and worked at Meadow Lane Healthcare Center in Benson.

She married Eugene Reiman on April 25, 1998, in Benson. They lived in rural Benson.

She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and its church groups and was a member of a homemakers group.

She is survived by her husband; her children: Mark (and Helen) Madden of Starbuck, Brian (and Sheryl) Madden of Benson, and Holli Marrs of Champlin; seven stepchildren: Daniel (and Delaine) Reiman of Burnsville, Ralph (and Donna) Reiman of Willmar, Kathy (and Dave) Eckmann of Minneapolis, Paul (and Ruth Ann) Reiman of Benson, Robert (and Cindy) Reiman of Benson, Linda (and Jim) Berens of Benson, and Kenneth (and Patricia) Reiman of Paynesville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and two brothers: Dennis (and Joan) Cushman of Montevideo and Byron (and Linda) Cushman of Anoka.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Madden; one son: Scott Madden; a great-granddaughter; two brothers; and one sister.
