DANUBE -- Lois Mueller, 62, of Danube died Sunday at her home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar. Burial will be in Zion Methodist Cemetery in Danube.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Feb. 22, 1946, in Olivia to William and Anna (Wertish) Herdina. She graduated from Olivia High School in 1964 and attended Alexandria Technical College to become a lab technician. She worked for several years at the hospitals in Redwood Falls and Olivia as a lab technician.
She married Larry Mueller on Aug. 26, 1972, in Danube. They lived and farmed in rural Danube and she worked since 1991 as a paraprofessional in the RCW School District. She was a member of Assembly Of God Church in Willmar.
She is survived by her husband; six daughters: Susan (and Rob) Anderson of Rexford, N.Y., Pam (and Jason) Kautz of Marion, Iowa, Laura Mueller (and Stuart Thompson) of Killeen, Texas, Maribeth (and Jeremy) Trevis of Rochester, Abby Mueller of Iowa City, Iowa, and Karen (and Ross) Doerr of Stewart; seven grandchildren; siblings: William Jr. (and Diana) Herdina of Waverly, Alice (and Gary) Mahlow of Bird Island and Mary Becker of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one grandson.
