PAYNESVILLE -- Lois Pearl Westvig-Moltumyr, 92, of Paynesville, died Wednesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Paynesville Evangelical Free Church in rural Paynesville. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Fergus Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville.

She was born May 15, 1916, in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Charles and Bertha (Baldry) McFarlane. She grew up in Aitkin and graduated from Aitkin High School.

She married Sigvald Richard Westvig on Nov. 3, 1934. They farmed at Palisade until 1964 when they moved to Fergus Falls and bought the Dairy Queen. Sigvald died in 1967, and she sold the Dairy Queen to their son in 1969. She moved to Kansas City, Mo., where she worked for Stonecraft Ministries.

She married Osborne Moltumyr in 1978. They lived in Wolverton for five years and then moved to Moorhead. Osborne died in 1997, and she moved to Eden Prairie. In 2004 she moved to Washburne Court in Paynesville where she lived until recently when she moved into Koronis Manor.

She was a member of Paynesville Evangelical Free Church and led Bible studies out of her home throughout her life.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth (and Beulah) Westvig of Aitkin, Marvin Westvig of Fergus Falls, Alice (and Bill) Anderson of Eau Claire, Wis., Warren (and Sue) Westvig of Coon Rapids, Dale (and Greta) Westvig of Chanhassen; daughter-in-law: Linda Westvig of Paynesville; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; son: Robert Westvig; daughter: Karen Blume; daughter-in-law: Virginia; one grandson; one great-grandson; and two brothers.
