Lois Schueller Jan. 26, 1912 - Nov. 24, 2008
MORRIS -- Lois Irene Schueller, 96, of Morris died Monday at West Wind Village in Morris.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris. Burial will be St. Theresia's Catholic Cemetery in Donnelly.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to services.
She was born Jan. 26, 1912, in Morris to Henry and Emily Smith. She graduated from Morris High School.
She married Walter Schueler on Nov. 27, 1934, in Morris. They moved to Detroit in 1936. During World War II, she worked in an airplane factory. They bought a farm in Grant County in 1945 and farmed until their retirement in 1975 when they moved to Donnelly. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Morris Hospital for many years. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church of Herman and St. Theresia's Catholic Church of Donnelly and was active in the ladies guild at both of the churches.
She is survived by her children Marge Gerber of Corrales, N.M., Mike (and Mimi) Schueller of Wausau, Wis.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one brother: Grant Smith of Donnelly.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-law: Robert Gerber; two sisters; and five brothers.
