Lois Warne April 9, 1920 - Sept. 11, 2009
NEW LONDON -- Lois Fay Warne, 89, of New London, died Friday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evangelical Covenant Church in New London. Burial will be in Morton City Cemetery near Morton.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home in New London and continues Wednesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born April 9, 1920, in Beaver Falls Township to George J. and Maude (Zumwinkle) Pregler. She grew up on a farm near Franklin and attended Fairfax High School, graduating in 1938.
On June 7, 1939, she married Clarence H. Warne in Morton. They lived in Fairfax and Raymond before moving to New London in 1947. They moved to Spicer in 1960.
She is survived by her children: Dallas "Tex" (and Jan) Warne of Spicer and Beverly Lambert (and Elwood Williams) of New London; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; siblings: Donna Leske of Fairfax, George Pregler of Edinburg, N.D., Goldye Hemingson of St. Louis Park, Merrill Pregler of Brainerd, Glenn (and Velma) Pregler of Willmar, Alan (and Carol) Pregler of Marshal, James Pregler of Minneapolis, and Lloyd (and Lillian) Pregler of Paynesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004; two great-grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
