'Longest Night' at local gallery

The Potato Eaters Gallery presents "Full Moon, Longest Night 2010" from 7 to 9 p.m. nightly through Saturday.

Enjoy new and old works by Maria Horvath and John Stout, with Mike McDonald's engaging collage, "The Journey."

The evenings will include storytelling and reading of poetry and along with a potluck of cookies.

It is an antidote to certain seasonal disorders.

Typical seasonal disorders are characterized in the exhibit as compulsive preoccupation with ridiculous music, pathetic decorating, senseless shopping, preposterous piety, mindless merriment and snow shoveling. Some cases may be untreatable.
