Lovander falls to 12th at tourney in California
After carding a five-under 66 Thursday, Willmar native Marilyn Lovander had troubles early before bouncing back to shot a 71 in the second round Friday at the Longs Drugs Challenge at Auburn, Calif.
Lovander was three-over through the first nine Friday before posting a birdie and an eagle along with seven pars to land in a 10-way tie for 12th place at 137. Dawn Coe-Jones owns a two-shot lead at 133.
