Lt. Gov. Prettner Solon won't seek re-election on Gov. Dayton ticket

Minnesota Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon announced today that she will not be running for re-election on Gov. Mark Dayton's ticket in November.

 Prettner Solon revealed her decision during a news conference this morning at the Capitol in St. Paul.

 Prettner Solon, a Duluth resident, is former state senator from Duluth and former city councilor.
