LITCHFIELD -- Lucille Irene Shoutz, 80, of Litchfield, died Wednesday at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Gertrude in Forest City. Burial will be in St. Gertrude's Catholic Cemetery, Forest City.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Augustana Memorial Chapel in Litchfield and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.
She was born April 10, 1928, in Darwin Township, Meeker County, to Louis and Martha (Halliday) Wimmer. She grew up in Forest City and graduated from Litchfield High School. She worked at Finger Hut in Cokato and at Jennie-O in Litchfield, and retired after working for the Toro Company in Plymouth. She was a member of the Church of St. Gertrude in Forest City.
She is survived by her sons: Cliff (and Jodi) Shoutz of Chaska, Mike (and Robbie) Shoutz of Atwater, Rick Shoutz of Rosendale, Raymond (and Wanda) Shoutz of Atwater, Pat (and Diane) Shoutz of Rosendale and J.R. Milton Shoutz of Litchfield; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Eileen (and George) Mihlbauer of Litchfield. She is also survived by her former husband: Milton.
She was preceded in death by four children: Connie, Louise, Leslie and Gregory; and two brothers.
