Luella 'Babe' Jolstad

KERKHOVEN -- Luella "Babe" Jolstad, 78, of Kerkhoven, died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kerkhoven Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Kerkhoven.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Arrangements are by Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Kerkhoven.
She was born April 2, 1930, in Ashley Township, rural Sauk Centre, to George and Blanch (Trattles) Pedersen. She grew up in the Glenwood area where she attended school, and she also attended high school in Murdock. She worked at Doug's Café and at the grocery store in Kerkhoven.
She married Earle Jolstad on Jan. 5, 1952, in Kerkhoven. They lived in rural Kerkhoven and farmed.
She was a member of Kerkhoven Lutheran Church where she was active in Ladies Aid, Quilting Circle, Meals on Wheels and Prayer Chain.
She is survived by her husband; daughter: Susan (and Edward) Guetter of Willmar; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kelly in 1987; and by two sisters.
