Luella E. Angier April 13, 1920 - July 29, 2009
COKATO -- Luella E. Angier, 89, of Cokato, formerly of Litchfield, died Wednesday at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cokato Manor Chapel in Cokato. Burial will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Memorials are preferred to Brookridge Assisted Living in Cokato.
She was born April 13, 1920, in Litchfield to Earl and Bertha (Tuman) Hutchins. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School. She lived in Litchfield her entire life.
On Aug. 25, 1940, she married James Angier in Litchfield. She was a housewife and worked as a trained medical assistant at Augustana Homes in Litchfield for 17 years. She was a member of Litchfield United Methodist Church, the UMW and the PTA.
She is survived by her husband; children: Lynn (and John) Yen of Hastings, Jennifer (and Bill) Francois of Houston, Kevin (and Lois) Angier of Litchfield and Michele (and Todd) Thompson of Minot, N.D.; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one brother: Douglas (and Eileen) Hutchins of LeRoy.
She is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
