PAYNESVILLE -- Luella Lehnen, 94, of Paynesville died Wednesday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of God in Eden Valley. Burial will be at the St. Louis Parish Cemetery in Paynesville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred.
She was born Aug. 7, 1914, in Eden Lake Township, Stearns County, to John and Rachel (Wilson) Driver.
She married Henry Lehnen on Sept. 30, 1933, in Paynesville. They farmed and lived in Paynesville Township. She moved to Paynesville after her husband died. She worked at the Good Samaritan Home in Paynesville for 20 years until she retired in 1979. She was a member of the Church of God in Eden Valley and the ladies aid.
She is survived by her children: Donna Mae (and Russell) Vadner of Paynesville, Eugene Lehnen of Paynesville and Irene (and Jerry) Diedrich of St. Cloud; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967; daughters: Betty Kilanowski in 2000 and Ione Lehnen in 1947; one grandson; seven brothers and three sisters.
