Luiken -- Nelson
Dana Luiken and Brent Nelson, both of St. Paul, are engaged to be married June 11 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Afton.
Luiken is the daughter of Larry and Marlene Luiken of Chatfield.
She is a 2003 graduate of Chosen Valley High School in Chatfield, a 2007 graduate of Hamline University in physical education and health, and a 2010 graduate of St. Thomas University with a master's in sports management. She is employed by the University of Minnesota Athletics Department as a premium services and special events coordinator.
Nelson is the son of Brenda Nelson of New London and Michael Nelson of Litchfield.
He is a 2005 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and a 2010 graduate of Hamline University in business management. He is employed by Twin Cities Siding Professionals as a paint operations manager.
