CLARKFIELD -- Mable Olivia Rupp, 97, of Clarkfield, died Thursday at the Clarkfield Care Center.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Evangelical Free Church in Benson. Burial will be in Buffalo Lake Mission Covenant Cemetery, Louriston Township, Chippewa County.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Lynner Funeral Home, Clarkfield.

She was born May 1, 1912, in Louriston Township, Chippewa County, to John A. and Jennie (Anderson) Neal. She grew up in Louriston Township and attended District 10 school. She attended St. Paul Bible School from 1936 to 1937.

She married Raymond Rupp on May 1, 1939. They were active in summer Bible schools, Sunday School and youth Gospel work. They began pastoral ministry with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Waubay, S.D., in 1941 and served churches in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska. They also served under the Evangelical Free Church of America in Benson.

She was active as a pianist and in youth and women's ministries.

She is survived by sons: Donald (and Linda) Rupp of Coon Rapids, David (and Gay) Rupp of Clarkfield; daughter: Arlene (and Mike) Wallin of Elk River; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant sister and three brothers.
