Mack and Beck elected to New London City Council

NEW LONDON -- John Mack and Loren "Corky" Beck were elected to the New London City Council Tuesday night.

Mack and Beck beat out Councilman David Schneider for the two open seats on the New London City Council.

Beck garnered the most support with 377 votes. Mack came in second with 358 votes, just edging out Schneider with 340 votes. The voting for New London City Council included 84 percent of the city's registered voters, according to unofficial results from the Minnesota Secretary of State's office.
