Man, 68, charged with attempted murder, assault in Granite Falls stabbing

WILLMAR -- A 68-year-old Granite Falls man has been charged with second-degree attempted murder and first- and second-degree assault for repeatedly stabbing a woman Friday at a home in Granite Falls. Curtis David Quale made his first appearance on the charges Tuesday in Yellow Medicine County District Court. Unconditional bail was set at $300,000. Quale's next court appearance is Aug. 4.
