Man arrested in Litchfield, wanted in two states

LITCHFIELD -- A 27-year-old man was arrested on multiple warrants this morning during what Litchfield Police Chief Patrick Fank is calling a multi-agency operation conducted at 420 Davis Ave. S.

The Litchfield Police, along with the CEE-VI Drug Task Force and the Hennepin County Violent Offender Task Force, took the man into custody on an outstanding warrant from New Mexico for criminal sexual conduct and on warrants from Hennepin and Ramsey counties for interfering with a 911 call and felony drug possession.

The man, whose name has not been released, is in the Meeker County jail for local charges of violating a no-contact order.
