WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman and her boyfriend have apparently used video from a Web cam to catch their neighbor breaking into their apartment, buying an adult film on their cable television and performing a sex act while watching the film.
Timothy Louis Streling, 21, of Willmar, was arraigned Thursday in Kandiyohi County District Court on two felony charges of second-degree burglary and misdemean-or charges of theft and attempted th-eft.
Unconditio-nal bail was set at $6,000.
Conditional release was allowed at $5,000 cash.
He was ordered to have no contact with the woman and to stay away from her apartment.
Streling, who also faces seven felony charges for his alleged involvement in a daytime burglary string in the county last winter, will appear in court for a probation violation hearing on Thursday.
He was sentenced in March to five years of probation on a felony charge for burglarizing a Willmar hotel room.
That charge, and several others, were filed after Streling was accused of ordering a pizza Jan. 5 from a room at the Lakeview Inn Motel on Business Highway 71 in Willmar.
He paid the delivery person $5 for a $32.92 bill, according to court documents.
Officers who came to the scene in response to the pizza delivery person's call discovered that Streling was not authorized to be in the motel room.
According to the current complaint, a Willmar police officer was called to the Law Enforcement Center around 6 p.m. Monday to take a burglary and theft report. The woman said Streling, who lives in the apartment below her, had been breaking into her apartment. Money and other items were missing and her cable bill showed the purchase of adult films that she and her boyfriend didn't make.
The couple set up a web cam and captured video of a man, identified as Streling, entering the apartment twice on Monday. The first time, he came in and ordered the adult film, knelt in front of the television and masturbated. The second time, he appears to turn on the television to another adult film. Later, the woman provided more video to police that showed Streling entering the apartment again the next day. Streling was arrested on Tuesday. He admitted he didn't have permission to go into the apartment.
